fund drive part 2 - 10.29.09
What a fun show this week! Despite a myriad of technical issues with turntables, and laptops, and harddrives, we put together a great two hour set of dance. First up is Gary Slam's mix which is all themed around love, just like our pledge drive. I like to think my set wasn't too bad either. There was Daft Punk in quantity, and that's all that needs to be said.
On another note, this week will be my last time co-hosting DYP. After starting this show a year and a half ago, I feel like we've really established a solid slot for dance music here on Radio K. It's been amazing hearing from and meeting many of you out there listening and I hope to continue to run into you all out partying. We had an extremely successful run on our show for the fund drive here which is pretty much the nicest goodbye I could have asked for. Thanks so much to all of you who listen every week, call in, and are all around rad people.
Click the support button up above if you haven't already. Make sure you let them know if you love our show here. Tune in next week to hear Gary Slam rock the shit out of some records.

soviet panda - 10.22.09
For the first week of our fall fundraiser we had Peter Lansky, aka Soviet Panda, of First Ave's Too Much Love on for too hours hotness. Make sure to check out TML this Saturday night for a special appearance from DFA's Shit Robot.
Thanks so much to Peter and everyone who called in and donated online. We raised almost $500 thanks to your generosity. We still have a ways to go on our $30,000 goal, so make sure to click that support button up above and contribute. If you party, donate now! Shit like this archive ain't free.
